They are as follows: hydrogen fuel, carbon removal and storage, and electrical grids. The report was hopeful and solutions-oriented, highlighting the difficulties and obstacles that the researchers will face with these challenges. Breakthrough Energy has since invested nearly $2 billion into more than 100 companies for this research.
