Houston homicide detectives are investigating after a man and woman were found dead at a home Monday morning in north Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The shooting was reported around 8:20 a.m. at a home in the 900 block of Lindale Street. Neighbors told police they heard gunshots before the victims were found dead in the front of the home.
HPD said investigators believe the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic violence incident after an argument with the woman’s ex-boyfriend.
Investigators are looking for a red Ford Fusion with Texas license plate RKK-7583 that was seen in front of the home around the time of the shooting.
Homicide detectives were canvassing the area Monday morning and talking with residents. Police said no one was inside the home when officers arrived.
Neighbors told police the woman was a mother of two boys and had lived at the home with her parents. HPD said the victims were middle-aged.
Anyone with information about the shooting or the vehicle is urged to contact Houston police.
KPRC 2 will provide more information as soon as it becomes available.
